Cyberversewiki.com 1st Anniversary

Hey CyberCitizens!

One year ago on this day, cyberversewiki.com went online for the first time. Can you believe it?

What started as a couple of pages on fandom.com (which, by the way, still exist to this day) has grown into an extensive community hub with over 160 indexed pages, an account system with more than 270 members, and several ways for community members to contribute content, including blogs, videos, memes, and lore.

The site now includes databases for all NFT collections, tools to improve the gaming experience like the Cyberia Maps and the multi-chain Wallet Viewer, and community-focused features such as the Event Calendar, a reward system with Froggies, a referral system, a gacha game, and even small mini-games.

I would have never thought this was possible when I first decided to migrate a few fandom pages to a standalone website. The main reason was to get away from the limitations that come with the fandom wiki system. I started by integrating basic tools like the Halving Calculator and LP Calculator. These tools no longer exist because they are no longer needed, but that is how everything began.

With the problems the infrastructure on Ergo brought, I decided to build the Wallet Viewer. It became the only way to see all your CyberVerse NFTs in one place with proper UX, unlike what was offered by SkyHarbor, Auction House, or Nautilus Wallet. After that came the NFT databases, with self-hosted images and full metadata. This was a major improvement for the experience of owning, buying, and selling CyberVerse-related NFTs, as none of this data was available in a usable form anywhere else.

Over time, the Wiki became more extensive and started to cover nearly every aspect of the game. A major shift happened when the site evolved from a static wiki and tool platform into a more dynamic community hub with various ways for users to contribute.

Right now, the site features:

• Over 20 blog articles

• 15 videos

• 200 memes

• 25 Citizen background stories

So far, users have earned over 1,500 Froggies by liking and contributing content.

Event

To celebrate the first anniversary, you will now be able to find Froggies hidden across all pages on the website. You can earn up to 10 per day and grow your Froggie count. Additionally, the Froggie rewards for referrals are doubled!

Also, I’ve been considering the idea of giving Froggies a bigger purpose beyond just being a number in the internal database. Turning them into a meme token is something that has always been on my mind. Nothing is set in stone yet, no decisions on how, where, or when; but I’ll keep you updated if things move forward. I’ve also been thinking about making gacha rewards more interesting in the future, potentially including things like CYPX or even NFTs as possible prizes. One thing's for sure: being part of cyberversewiki.com and staying active in the CyberVerse community will be worth it in one way or another. 😉
