Mr Miami

Mr MIami is a playable character in CyberVerse. He is a Generation 3 CyberCitizen.

Lore

Mr. Miami, love him or hate him, is a name so well known around the City of Cyberia you could easily mistake him for a celebrity—well, at least that’s what he likes to think. Donning his signature Neon style, he’s often seen throwing around CYPX at the Casino, tossing back drinks at the Club, or holding parties in his Neon-lit apartment. But most know him for his love of CyberCars.

Mr. Miami is the #1 CyberCar Collector and private dealer in all of Cyberverse. His collection contains some of the rarest, fastest, and most expensive cars to have ever graced the streets of Cyberia. Legendary among car fanatics, he’s even popular with those few who see him cruising the city in his custom 1 of 1 Neo-Sigma Elite—a car that embodies his very persona—which often can be found drawing crowds outside his apartment at the Grand Hotel.

His life wasn’t always lavish, though. In his younger years, he struggled to find his place among other citizens. While others found love, pursued dreams, and discovered who they were, he would sit on the side of the street watching, wishing to feel what they felt. Little did he know his life was about to change. One summer afternoon, he was sitting by a fountain outside the Casino when his vision was obscured by a beautiful red blur—a Ferrion Synthossa swiftly passed by, parking mere meters away. He had never seen anything so beautiful, something that could embody passion and determination all in one. It was in that moment he knew what he wanted and how to get it.

His first job was as a furniture salesman. Mentored by the best, and serving a wide variety of customers, he quickly learned the fine art of “Selling,” so much so that others would joke, “He could sell a comb to a bald man.” Believe it or not, with his first paycheck, instead of finding a place to live, he went out and bought his very first car, a LYNX Classic. He would cruise the streets, windows down, music playing, enjoying the wind in his hair until the sun began to set. Then he would find somewhere to park by the ocean, lay on the backseat with eyes closed, listening to the lapping water and the wind flowing through palm trees, as happy as could be.

Unfortunately, his happiness soon vanished when he was severely injured in a car accident. With his right arm and ear missing, he was rushed to the hospital. While undergoing surgery, his heartbeat kept dropping until it stopped completely. For 42 seconds, he was gone before the surgeons were able to shock him back to life, placing him into an induced coma. Doctors woke him two weeks later, and much to their shock, even though he had lost an arm, ear, and had died, his biggest grief was the loss of his car. When able, he revisited the crash site, searching aimlessly for a reason when he found a piece of scrap metal left behind from the wreckage. Left staring at the piece of metal, he decided to not give up, but instead to give it his all. He took that wrecked metal and had an engineer reconstruct it into a Silver arm and ear prosthetic for him. He got back to the grind, using his sales skills to become the larger-than-life car collector he is today.

Mr. Miami was famously asked why he doesn’t upgrade his robotic parts to gold or even diamond to suit his lifestyle. He simply responded, “It’s a reminder, life can change in a heartbeat… So find passion, work for it, enjoy it.”
